Dynamic queries need to be able to query the software inventory. I want a group of nodes called "SQL" that automatically adds members if they have Microsoft SQL Server installed.
Could you not create the dynamic groups using what application templates get assigned to nodes?
I agree with mdjukic this can be done with groups and custom properties.
