Enable SAM to include same alert recipients in a group.

We have thousands of alerts where we have 15 - 20 similar alert recipients. Currently we do not have the feature to create a group and include email/text/page addresses of all those common recipients in that group - so we have to go on each of those alerts and add them one by one manually (which is tedious and time consuming effort).

If you enhance SAM with this feature then it will save us a great deal of our time and from performing this monotonous work - we should be able to use this group instead of adding them one by one.

Seems to me that would be an email distribution list; you could even do it in conjunction with application custom properties.

there are some good threads about using custom properties for email alerts.

Thanks for your comment njoylif. Other products like Server Vantage (a compuware product) has this functionality built into the product.

However I am new to SAM (still in the process of implementing it in our organization), can you please guide me to the threads about using custom properties for email alerts (as how to reach out to those threads)?
