I have a number of custom jobs that must be run on every switch, router, and firewall.
When I add new nodes, I must manually add them to every job manually.
That's a waste of time--IF Network Sonar Discovery had an option to automatically add all newly discovered nodes to NCM Jobs.
Even better, if there were advanced or custom discovery options that added some nodes to some NCM jobs, and not to others. For example:
1. I add a dozen new switches, routers, and firewalls using Sonar Discovery. Every one of them needs to be added to the same six daily or weekly jobs.
2. At the same time, I add a dozen servers. NONE of them should be added to these NCM jobs, but might be added to other NCM jobs.
If you can make Network Sonar Discovery do this, it would be powerful. It would be a HUGE time saver for my organization, particularly as we go through regular hardware replacement cycles every X years. Manually adding 500 Cisco nodes to 8 different NCM jobs is tedious--a job worthy of a computer's power, not of a human's time.
