For Cisco 55xx series wireless LAN controllers, when an AP goes down, the WLC immediately forgets all about it. You need a tool like Cisco Prime, Aruba Airwave or Solarwinds to remember that there was an AP and track that it's down until - well until it no longer needs to track it. If the AP comes back up, all is well and good. However if the AP is no longer needed, either because it was replaced or decomissioned, we need to be able to remove it from Solarwinds. Currently the only way to do that is with the database manager application where you would find the down AP and then delete it.
Could we have a command in the Solarwinds Thin client GUI to delete that AP?
