I'd like to see options for additional variables in AAM, like:
Trigger Alert when all of the following apply
Application Status is equal to Down
Node Time is 23:00 - 02:00
Related Node exchangeserver1 is Up
or
Trigger Alert when all of the following apply
Application Name is equal to Exchange Servers
Number of components down is equal to or greater than 3
or
Trigger Alert when all of the following apply
Poller Name is equal to PrinterSuppliesRemaining
Trigger Alert when any of the following apply
Status contains *cartridge* and numeric status is less than or equal to 10
Status contains *fuser* and numeric status is less than or equal to 5
I know I can use suppression rules for some of these, but have experienced that they can be a bit hit and miss.
