Solarwinds being called as an observability tool should have some AI features in the on-prem version as well. Below are some must-haves :
Anomoly detection features in On-Prem version
Currently, we need to connect Solarwinds observability self-hosted with SolarWinds Observability Saas to use this feature. The feature should be available in the on-prem version as we are providing the solution as on-prem version and customer does not agree for any data to stream to cloud or SolarWinds saas.
The supported metrics are limited to - CPU, memory, response time, and packet loss which needs to be increased.
AI/Machine Learning features in On-Prem version
1. AI-driven alerting: Reduces noise and improves incident response.
2. Automated root cause analysis and predictive insights
3. Forecasts across any metric you define, not just CPU, memory, disk and interface utilization.
Advanced Alerting/Corelation features not available
Below are some must have features when we talk about correlation
1. Alertstack does not allow feature to write custom rules or club alerts into a situation based on requirement.
2. Alert triaging, collaboration among teams in a situation room to find a root cause and resolve it is not available in AlertStack
