Add an option to include a custom property during a network discovery

During a network discovery having the option to include a custom property to all the nodes in the discovery would save time and energy from having to go back and manually add the custom property to all the nodes you just added. In the case of adding hundreds of nodes at a time who wants to then go back and find all those nodes to add a custom property to!?!?

Having the ability to select one during an initial discovery would be great!

One other option would be able to assign a custom property to a list of nodes based on a text or excel file. Essentially this is where this feature request came from. When doing a network discovery you can include a list of names/IP's, why can't we do the same thing when assigning other things like custom properties or even other features? IF it was possible to just assign a custom property to a list of names that would also be sufficient.

I've up voted as this would be useful however there is a few ways around it which are almost pain free

All of my nodes will have a custom property assigned to them. For example, location or City. I actually use Comments for mine. But say if you used City when you discover a bulk batch of nodes you will see them all appear as Unknown when you manage nodes and then group by "City"

I could then select all nodes without any text in city, select all and bulk assign a location. This can be done in the same way with any custom property. Device type is another on I used.

This method promotes good house keeping as well

Another method is using dynamic query's. These can automatically assign nodes to groups etc for you.
