Ability to configure statistic averages to coordinate with business hours.

It would be nice if you could hone your statistics on things like interface utilization to coordinate with business hours. Our organization primarily works standard business hours. As a result statistics are being polled for off hour activity(essentially zero). When those figures are used to find averages they are ultimately bringing down the result.

Are you asking for the web console resources or the reports? As there are several ways to filter time when reporting.

There's a time frame tab that allows a single time frame of one business day, though to do it for protracted periods or with differing time zones, you will need to utilize custom SQL and custom properties.

I've written several custom SQL reports to filter info only for the business hours.

Here's a segment for a specfic time frame (8 to 5) and another that utilizes the timezone (custom property) and DST info for more accuracy.

AND DATEPART(hh, ResponseTime.DateTime) >= 8 AND DATEPART(hh, ResponseTime.DateTime) <= 17

AND DATEPART(hh, InterfaceTraffic.DateTime) >= X - Nodes.TimeZone + (1 - Nodes.DST)*@isDST

AND DATEPART(hh, InterfaceTraffic.DateTime) <= Y - Nodes.TimeZone + (1 - Nodes.DST)*@isDST
