Use SNMP to monitor AIX and HP-UX \ Unix, There will be CPU, memory data is not accurate, NPM can use the command directly via SSH or telnet query manner as related to system performance monitoring, This approach can also be applied can not install SNMP client system。

This is a good idea and I voted it up,but as a caveat related to AIX lpars, it can still lead to inaccurate information related to cpu utilization especially due to the nature of that environment.  It is possible to have a system running at 200% cpu and that is okay and correct and not a problem.  This will make alerting difficult.  The script that is running will need to know whether an lpar is capped or uncapped.  If it is capped then utilization will be as expected.  If it is uncapped, that lpar (virtual system) has a guaranteed level of cpu available but if there are additional resources available and it needs them, it can use those resources until something needs them.  So if all the lpars on that physical hardware are jogging along and one is working hard, it may request cpu resources that are not being used....  Determining when it is running at 100% and there are no additional resources can be a challenge. 

Back to the idea, there are many instances where this would be useful over snmp since it would allow for more specific script based monitoring. A good example would be an F5.  SNMP offers a lot but to really monitor them, you need to run perl scripts on the F5 itself.
