In the Managed Nodes UI, I really enjoy the ability to filter objects based on various attributes including custom properties. I would find it very useful if I could also managed nodes based on group membership. Groups allow me to define node relationships in a way I cannot nor should not try to accommodate with a custom property. Often times I want to do things like suppress alerts for all members of the group. I currently do this when we are patching by assigning a custom property that identifies the "patch group". These are large with a limited number of groups. However, in many cases I have work to do on groups of servers that cross the patch group boundaries or are subgroups within one such as the group I have defined for all my SolarWinds pollers, or the group I have defined for Application X, Y or Z. Being able to Manage the nodes within a Group would help with this a lot.
