I would like to see the ability to generate a group alert when a percentage of the group membership achieves some condition (up/down/disk space etc). Reason for this is I have 2500+ Point of Sale devices which should be online 24/7 but the reality is that a number per store will be offline due to normal business actiities. At present we do not alert when a POS is offline due to the volume of false alerts it would generate. The downside of this is that when a significant number of POS are offline we have to determine this through other means, which undermines my 'single pane of glass' objectives for Solarwinds. It would be very beneficial if we would generate an alert when x% of a group meet a condition. The percentage approach is best as the number of POS vary greatly between differing size stores.
