In some instances it may be required to only use ICMP OR SNMP. In such instances, it would be handy if the corresponding native poller could be set as the default for status & response time, and to have this as the only one assigned when nodes are added.
Whilst NPM 10.7 brought in the ability to have status and response times calculated by SNMP, this would go one step further and allow customers to hard code one or the other.
