Ability to export configuration file

I would like to submit the idea to have the ability to export the saved configuration file on NCM to a text file in the event that modifications need to be made and we have to console into the device so that we can upload locally to the device. Right now, I have to copy the entire configuration file and then paste it into a text document.

FYI - If you have access to the desktop of the solarwinds server then you can browse to the archive folder and find the original config file. I submitted this same request a couple of weeks ago, it shouldn't be that hard to implement into the next release.

You can also create an export job and export the config with at .txt extension.

Thanks, I checked it out and found it was saved in a different format than a .txt file. I was able to save it to a local folder. Hopefully they get it implemented into the next release. Sometimes there is just no time to sit there and manipulate the file so that it can be saved in a central repository for the network section for everyone to view in a simple format.

I tried to do an export job and although the job would run successfully, I set up the job to run and save to the C: drive.It saved the report to the folder on the server with the same name, not the configurations as a file with a .txt extension.
