When a node is down, WMI Polling currently continues which writes an event to the Windows System log of the server NPM is installed upon, filling up the log with multiple events recorded each and every minute. This is completely unneeded and causes problems by both filling up the event log and causing continual email notifications of an event via SEM.
If a node does not respond to a ping, WMI Polling should completely stop until such time the NPM server receives an appropriate ping response from the node.
