Hi,
We are having issue monitoring UP alerts for the AP which switch between the WC.
when an AP goes down we get the down alerts and it remembered in the DB as Down.
when the AP come up under different WC the AP gets new Index and consider it as new AP and we do not get the UP alert.However the AP continue to show in old WC with old Index as Down and show UP in the New WC.
This is causing improper monitoring. We request a feature change.
suggestion: For Monitoring use name of the AP Instead of INDEX given by WC
This way no matter AP connects different WC and different index we still get the UP alerts since it is monitoring the AP using name.
