Re-creating this request since the one I put in was marked as 'implemented', but it was not really.
Look at the thread for the 'tell us your unknown devices' there are over 800 posts there with customers telling SW their unknown devices.
It's time (and more) for there to be a way to administratively specify the sysObjectID -> Vendor and MachineType mappings
Functionality needed:
- ability to edit the mapping from the webUI without creating a new poller
