Enable Kiwi Syslog Server to use TLS 1.2

We currently use the syslog server to take syslog messages and insert them into a Microsoft SQL Server database. We have been running this for a number of years now and it works great. Due to security requirements, we will only be able to use TLS 1.2 in the future. But the syslog server does not support this. I am requesting that this be enabled so that we can continue to update our syslog database.

This functionality was added as part of the 9.6.5 release. Can you confirm if you have tested TLS 1.2 with this version?

I am on version 9.6.5.3 and it does not fix connecting to a Microsoft SQL database. I believe the TLS 1.2 implement is merely for connecting to the Syslog Server and not for any outgoing connections.

Glad they approved it, now if they would only implement it.
