API centric nature of AWS infrastructure, doesn't greatly rely on IP assignment so static IP assignment is not that much of a chore. But still, we would like IPAM support to extend to cloud service providers for two reasons:
a) To act as single source of truth for all IP addressing
2) To provide subnet assignment which is still done manually.
