Need: allow me to have a list of interfaces a user is permitted to view, and a separate list of nodes they are able to view.
Just because and interface is a child object of a node, that doesn't automatically mean the user should have rights to the node.
ex: Customer router at their facility that we own/manage
Router at our facility (head-end) that has the circuit to that customer as well as many other customers.
I don't want the customer to be able to see the "head-end" device and have a list of the interfaces with all of the other customers info.
EDIT: I had a ticket open (655842) and they couldn't come up with a workaround either. Seems like a bug..does SW not recognize bugs (everything is a Feature Request)?
