I love me some NetPath.
Often with complex and lengthy paths expanding the condensed groupings can sometimes cause the path to expand beyond the viewable area of your screen.
What if the path was orientated top-down, vertically?
Path flow from top-to-bottom; allowing the user to scroll naturally up and down the screen along the path.
Condensed groupings would expand downward and horizontally; taking advantage of the natural widescreen nature of computer or television monitors.
I would picture this as a toggle that would also lockout "zoom" scrolling, so you could still zoom but you would need to use the +/-
