Create buttons to perform actions

It would be great if i were able to create a button (and set permissions) that will trigger a series of events (much like alerts)

Right now i would need to test if a server goes down then the alert would fire and then trigger my series of actions, if my service is off deliberately i want to manually chose when to turn it on but do so within solarwinds so it runs the routine. (unmanaging is not an option as i still want the statistics)

If i created a button within the node that when pressed causes the action it would be great for automation:

Service is switched off deliberately

i now need to turn it on, before the service is enabled however i need to run some scripts

I press a button>run script 1 on NODE X>run script 2 ON NODE X> turn on the service

I press a button> run script 3 ON NODE X> run script 4 ON NODE X> turn off the service

Seems like something that could be doable if the platform had role-based access control (RBAC) and the ability to set node admins or group admins.
