I would love to see the ability to update custom properties from within a web generated report.
I rely on reports to audit and identify issues in Solarwinds. One of the most common issues I use reports to identify is SNMP polling failures. The majority of the time when I identify an issue that is not a Solarwinds issue but a device mis-configuration I pass the corrective action task on to the responsible regional technician by forwarding him/her a link to the report that I used to identify the issue in the first place.
Because the corrective action can be different depending on the device or the issue in question I use a custom property field in the report call 'Recommended Corrective Action' where I provide a brief one line description for the local technician what he/she has to check. This works well as I find technicians are more likely to carry out these tasks if they are given some form of direction.
This is just one example of a use-case, I have many reports where this feature would be hugely beneficial.Therefore I would like the ability to add the info/details into custom property fields from within the web report instead of having to either use the custom property editor or the edit nodes.
