Would like to see a report or alert that shows volumes not being monitored on a server. If we add a drive to a Windows server by default it would not be monitored.
thanks
Tony
I see this as a huge issue. We do not run Scheduled Network Sonar Discoveries, so we have an issue where new Volumes and Interfaces do not get checked int he List Resources area. This is more of a problem for Volumes for us than for Interfaces, but in both cases, we would like a Reporter or some way to identify Volumes and Interfaces which are not checked but have been discovered.
I do like this idea as well - there are a lot of reasons to not run Sonar (such as catching of a large quantity of unintended devices and duplicate statistics/volumes from volumes being renamed) - so some sort of way to say "these are what we found but are not monitoring" would be beneficial. This could also be nice to highlight/flag servers which are being queried via SNMP/WMI but do not have any interfaces or volumes being monitored.
