As of 11.0.378 every instance that you register must have credentials configured for it in order to connect. It would be nice to be able to have a set of credentials that could be setup and shared between all of the instances. We have requirements through our information security team to change service account passwords on a regular basis and it would make it much easier to do than editing the connection properties for every registered instance.
