Mute alerts on Volumes

Hi Team,

We don't have the feasibility to mute alerts on Volumes, same as mute alerts on nodes.

We raised a case with support team and case number is 00363787.

We found that even version's don't have the feasibility to mute alerts Volumes.

Our requirement is like below..

We will have both Node and Volumes monitored in Solarwinds.

But we only need alerts on Node and alerts on Volumes to be muted.

I hope Solarwinds team will consider this request and will get that feature implemented.

I was able to accomplish this fairly easily by using Custom Properties.

Step 1- create a custom property for volumes called 'MuteAlerts' (or something similar)

Step 2- for any volumes that you want to mute alerts, set the property to True (Yes)

Step 3- modify your alert to only include volumes that have the MuteAlerts custom property set to No (False)

If nothing else, you can use it as a work around until your feature request is approved and implemented.
