Currently you can set a node into maintenance and forced to put in a window for time frame. This is perfect, however I am finding that when I come back to a node that is in maintenance say a week or two later I have the following issues:
- I have no idea who put it into maintenance (who put this into maintenance?)
- I could use the audit tracking on the device to see who did this...but it would be very helpful to see this say, in the Managed Nodes tab somehow where we do most of our work managing the nodes.
- I stand corrected...I don't see an audit log showing who put the node into maintenance mode at all...no event either. So I have no idea who put the node into maintenance.
- I can't determine how long this node's maintenance was set for (when is it due to come out of maintenance?)
- Why was the node put into maintenance in the first place? Ticket reference, notes, something.....
Add visibility into maintenance details (who performed the maintenance, and time stamp - how long the maintenance window is currently set for)
Add function to force user (make mandatory) to input the reason the node was put into maintenance mode
Add a ticket reference field to simply hold a ticket number reference - this way the field can be searched in the future.
