I'd like to see an option to add a note as to why something is scheduled to be unmanaged, and keep a historical reference for that to revisit it later.
For instance, if a switch was affected by maintenance each Saturday for 3 weeks in a row. You could set those times, and note that they were each for maintenance, emergency maintenace, etc.
