Display Active Directory username in Alerts instead of Active Directory user-id

Large organizations typically have alpha-numeric Active Directory user id's. When configuring alerts in SolarWinds, we would like to see the actual Active Directory username instead of the Active Directory user id.

2 thoughts -

We should be able to query AD and populate the First name, Last name of the specific user-id. Since we integrate with Active Directory, is it possible to fetch the usernames and populate that in place of the user-id.
Or we should have the option of creating a custom property based on AD accounts, thus alerts can then show the AD account info

The current AD integration with SolarWinds is just for authentication but a more in-depth integration would help with fetching more AD information.

User Device Tracker (UDT) and Hybrid Cloud Observability can also poll AD information. It's used primarily to match end users to network ports or Wireless APs, but can be used in other ways. In what type of alert would you need this information?

These are typically required in alerts where the the alphanumeric AD ID is seen for example - Link down alerts where the engineer following up on the case should be visible rather than his AD ID.
