Manage Nodes View - Without the Node Management Role

We have a large multi-customer installation of Solarwinds and we don't let everyone "manage nodes" this has the downside that the excellent viewing, sorting and searching functionality on the Manage Nodes View is not available to all.

It would be a definite step forward to allow all staff customers to use the view but not have the managed nodes ability.

I agree. The view it provides is valuable but giving management rights just to have that view has caused me problems.

This would be helpful now that he unmanage node rights is broken out. Non node-admins could go to manage nodes page to unmanage multiple nodes.

This would be so valuable. I have 30 engineers who want this view as it provides a much more complete view of a site, and it allows them to unmanage an entire site, (5 to 205 devices) in one click. I don't want them to be able to modify node custom properties as that could change alerting/reporting etc., but the multiple unmanage capability would save them precious time when working on a site.

You can do this via the Integrated Search in the menu navigation that was added in NPM 12.2

Can you clarify the Integrated search please? We just ugraded to NPM 12.2, so I haven't yet found what you are referring to.

It would be very nice, if in addition to letting users without node-management rights search for multiple nodes, they could take maintenance action on them as well. For example being able to use custom properties to search for a particular group of servers, then be able to Mute or Unmanage them all at once.

I see how you can search and mute nodes one-by-one, but it would be nice if you could, for example, search for "SQL", select entity "Nodes", then "Select All" and Mute or Unmanage them all at once.
