One feature that works well in Nagios is the abaility to set multiple MX Windows for any node, whether they overlap or not. In Orion setting of a 2nd MX window wipes out the first whether or not they overalp. THis creates an administrative issue for our NOC in that you have to use calendar reminders to go back and set any MX that was wiped out by setting another. You also need to first check for an existing MX, and its details, prior to setting another. In Nagios you just setup what is requested for a change without worry. Is this a feature that could be incorporated in Solar Winds ?
