Currently any notes put into an alert via the web console are in a run-time cache. After the alert clears any information regarding the alert from the notes or even who acknowledged it is lost. What I would like to see is this information permanently written to a table that can be reported on. We like to at a bare minimum list the ticket number in the alert notes. It would be very valuable to be able to report on past alerts, who acknowledged them and when, and any applicable notes that they entered.
