Modifying Strings_DE.* files

Hi,

is it possible and ok to modify these files?

We are testing the Serv-U FTP Server and we like the Filesharing Portal.

But our user wont this in english. Is this allowed to modify the files?

Doing this is not officially supported, however you should not encounter any problems with Serv-U while modifying the translated string files. You should be careful when doing so as some strings assume HTML encoding. You can assume that if the English string includes HTML coding, you must do the same with the translated string. Also, your modified files would be overwritten when installing a new version of Serv-U.
