This should be super easy. The logic is already there in schedule maintenance. I would like to be able to schedule deletion like we can schedule maintenance. We have nodes that will be removed for construction projects or many hundreds of other reasons. Our project managers know these devices will be removed for months before it happens. I would like to keep the device monitored until the device is removed and then delete the node, so instead of the node showing as down, the node is deleted. This would be great for an interface too. I may have a change happening on a switch feeding another switch and I want to discontinue the deletion of the interface from monitoring in NPM.
