Edit Custom Application Property - Resource for View

There's the excellent resource that can be added to the Node Details view for "Edit Custom Node Property". Since the Nodes table was separated into NodesData and NodeCustomProperties - it appears that even non-admin users are now able to update notes from the Node Details view - EXCELLENT!

However, for some reason we only have it for Nodes - not any of the other resources that are available to have custom properties. In particular, we heavily use APM Application Monitors and it would be excellent to allow our users to edit our application custom property of "Ticket_Number" right from the Application Details view.

We have an Edit Custom Node Property resource for the nodes view - why not all the others?

what version of each are you using?

I'm on 11.5.2 and it has "application custom properties" resource

I can't say for sure, but I believe that the resource you picture requires the ability to fully edit the application, same as the same resource does on the node.

For nodes, the dashboard resource exists "Edit Custom Node Property" (pictured, my property is "Ticket_Number"):

Since the nodes table was separated into NodesData and NodesCustomProperties, this allows my users to edit fields in NodesCustomProperties without giving them access to edit the nodes themselves.

The same should be easily accomplished with a little backend programming for Applications since those tables are also separated.
