I have requirement where i want to include the status of the WPM Transaction (like up / Down). If it is down i want mention the status of the SAM app monitor (for the webserver nodes) in the same Alert and also status of the node itself. So that i can send the support team the place to look for issue.
Example is i have a Ecommerce platform hosted in four webserver nodes which are load balanced. So if monitoring this site with WPM then when the site goes down i want to include in the alert the status of WPM transaction with the error message then add the status of the SAM app monitor for the same webnodes and the backend database nodes. further i want to add the status of NPM nodes like the status of each webnodes, database nodes, load balancer, other network device status.
currently solarwinds does not support this feature, and you can only add one type of variables in an alert. you cannot add NPM variables to WMP Alerts.
