It just occurred to me that it would be great if SolarWinds provided integration to the Cisco SNMP Object Navigator page (http://snmp.cloudapps.cisco.com/Support/SNMP/do/BrowseOID.do?local=en) as an option for their Orion NPM application. This dramatically reduce the need for so many of us having to enter requests for descriptions for our Unknown Devices. By the way, this does not only apply to the Unknown Devices, but also to so many devices that NPM simply designate their Machine Type as Cisco.
Also, I do not know of other SNMP Object Navigation sites -- I usually just Google them or do an SNMP walk. Anyway, I hope I get your vote on this idea. Have a great day, everyone!!!
