Would be nice to be able to hyperlink from the node details page in NPM to the vendor support portal for the vendor of that device.
Have you tried using Custom Node Properties to add this? I can imagine this working for your need.
Imagine here you have "Vendor_Portal" and the address...and you can use "manage nodes" to modify multiples at the same time. This wouldn't be difficult to implement, even in a large deployment. Even if the hyperlink doesn't operate, you'd be able to simply copy/paste to a new tab. Thus when adding new devices, you could select the vendor's address from a drop down.
Otherwise, a lot of SNMP devices have an "SNMP Contact" field that you can populate with the vendor's link as well. Again, the hyperlink may not link directly to the website, but you could copy/paste. Note that this field IS collected within the standard "Node Details", so no custom properties necessary.
