The colour map used for displaying thin-provisioning over-commitment and deduplication reports uses the same alerting colour range used for monitoring storage space.
Eg: 70% to 89% is amber, and over 90% is red.
This does not accurately represent the risk level associated with thin-provisioning. For example, an over-commitment of 120% can be viewed as an acceptable level, and this should not be shown in red (depending on the best practice being used).
I recommend adding a custom range that is used for reporting on thin-provisioing. This should be adjustable via the STM Server Setup pages.
The default could be:
Amber: 90%+
Red: 130%+
Additionally, it would be preferable to be able to adjust this range per device or group of devices.
