**This should work in Serv-U now**
We have several web facing servers, email using TLS, HTTP(S), Citrix Gateway, ...
The administration of the certificates was becoming a burden as some of the servers were under our control however the budget for the certificate was someone elses. Office Politics is a wonderful thing. We spent the extra money and purchased a *.domain-name.com certificate from a reputable vendor. The current certificate for our Serv-U FTP server is coming up for renewal and i asked if Serv-U supports a wildcard certificate.
I was informed that the product (we are running version 15 on Windows 2008R2) does NOT support this feature.
So I am asking that his be included in future versions. I will admint to have zero clue as to how the product handles a FQDN certificate currently or how much work would be involved in making the changes to correctly respond while using a *-dot certificate. It would just make my life simpler. And the lives of others that have more than one web facing server.
