Cloud Network Gateway Monitoring - ExpressRoute Packets Per Second

Add in Packets per Second metrics to the Azure Network Gateway View for ExpressRoute. We are able to show the connection status but not the Packets per Second metric. We ran into an outage this week where the connection was still up but the amount of traffic fell far below where it should be. We would like to alert on this metric.
