@yaquaholic in his Edit Custom Volume (etc) Property resource, similar to the 'Edit Custom Node Property' post many years back had requested the ability for staff to alter Custom Property (CP) values for Volumes. aLTeReGo had pointed him to the ability to use the 'Edit Custom Property Values' links that appear in various locations where these CPs are displayed. @yaquaholic was satisfied with that answer likely because users in his system have the ability to edit CPs for those components.
My situation is a bit different. My users DO NOT have Node Administrator or Admin rights in our environment. For Nodes, I grant them the right to change Node CP values by displaying the 'Edit Custom Node Property' in locations where they may see a CP's value is different than they would like it to be and want to fix it. This saves them having to involve me to get the change made.
I have also wanted to do the same for Application Monitor, Interfaces and Volumes but there are no similar widgets for this purpose. This Feature Request is asking SolarWinds to add these widgets to the environment as well.
