I was building a PerfStack project for a customer this afternoon, which had a less-than-obvious component name as a item. I hovered over the element name in the y-axis and noticed that the hover text was it's parent application monitor name. It occurred to me that if would be much more useful if this over text were the description I have provided for the component, which would make it clear that in this case a high value is good, and a low value is bad - to provide some context.
Then it further occurred to me how useful it would be if this hover text could be customised further, to allow for any text - and then I thought "why does it have to be hover text? Why not have a simply free-text element so I can put a brief explainer at the top of the Project, or even between each graph??"
The ability to add small custom text fields, rather than just metrics, would be huge! I know, we're getting close to a full dashboard, but I would find it really useful when I spin up a quick PerfStack project which I intend to share, if I could put a element which could contain some limited text (255 characters), so I can explain to the recipient what they are seeing and why I think it's important.
This would add to the troubleshooting power of PerfStack!
