Pingdom Uptime displays all devices, even if some of the devices are connected to each other. In a simple example, if a router, a switch, and a camera were being monitored, it would be a benefit to “rollup” these into a single line item, as opposed to the entire list of items in the connectivity path being presented. We certainly want to be alerted when an end device (camera) is down, but if the router fails, we know the entire connectivity path for all devices are down as well…. Don’t need those listed, or again at least the ability to “drill down” if desired.
