NPM: Enable/Disable Action on Trigger/Reset Actions on Advanced Alert Manager

I could be asking for more but then this would be a great feature. Say I have multiple actions under my trigger actions like an Email , NetPerfMon Event Log and Execute an external program etc etc

I might not want an email to be fired on an alert for a couple of days - but then I would like to retain that action under Trigger Actions (I don't want to delete the same), I should have an option to disable a particular action and enable it back when I require the same.

Why not just disable the alert for that time period then?

Because this resets the alert causing any conditions of trigger to send an email again. That action as well when 'Editing' or 'Changing' the alert causes the need for this request.

I have seen other monitoring systems with this feature, and by no means is this a 'Why can't SW keep up' as the other application is very cryptic and that option caused a sending of emails to my Telecom engineers that started them towards freak out mode.

So this if taken on must be carefully implemented and then further understood before trying to use (though the careful implementation would make it easier to understand and manage than those 'Other guys').

*And purely on ease of use / navigation, available information and capabilities keeps folks requesting access to SW systems, and not that other thing they put out there*

I know you can do this now, but what would be even better is if they allowed you do disable or enable trigger actions FROM the alert that you're configuring rather than going through the motions, creating all your triggers and then having to go back to "action manager" finding your action which is a pain in and of itself and turning it off. All the while hoping your alert hasn't fired 4000 incidents to your ticketing system because you futzed up the conditions. (yes I've done this before )
