I have been working with Clients for years and one of the largest issues I run into is with migration of IPAM data. This could be for a number of reasons from migration of OS platforms, rebuilds, collapsing standalone environments into larger Orion installs, etc.. It seems like something that should be really easy to do, but I have found in most cases it requires a lot of manual effort and can be very time consuming in larger environments.
This process or utility should be flexible to all export/import for every level of IP Management. These would include but not limited to Folders, SuperNet and Subnets, and individual IP details. Names, Custom data, etc.. should be included with the export for the items selected. Example: If a Folder was selected it would bring over the Folder and all the attributes for the Folder, including sub folder, SuperNets, Subnets, IP with their individual attributes or custom information.
