Change Node Status with Alerts - UNDP Support

Please extend the ability to change node status using alerts on UNDP data.  Since NPM only polls basic data for many devices automatically, UNDP is the primary way users can extend this functionality themselves. If present I would use this feature extensively.  Thanks

Just started using the Universal Device Poller and was surprised to find that after setting thresholds for the Universal Device Poller it did not impact the overall status of the node its associated to.  I wanted to add the node to a dashboard and when the custom monitor goes to warning or failed it changes the status of the node.  Please include this into the way the product works.  Someone mentioned SAM is already working like this but would be great if NPM could behave the same way.
