I would like to propose a feature request to have IPAM automatically scan DHCP and add exclusion ranges to the system.
I would like to be able to see and edit exclusion ranges within our IPAM, we are aiming to be able to provide a full management system to our subnet's that are in DHCP through IPAM. Currently i cant see a way of checking if the IP address is in any exclusion range(they show as available). Why we use exclusion ranges, we have an offshore "guest" network which we allow third parties to use if they are unable to carry out their work from a company computer. We sometimes see this as we might block certain sites or they require specific software. As we want to control who is able to connect to these networks we reserve IP's on request then exclude all of the existing unused IP addresses(only certain ports are enabled but people end up finding out and tried using their own laptops and hubs/switches into them).
I'm not sure how this would affect the licensing but to me atleast this seems like a flaw which many would find helpful.
Thanks and regards,
Frazer
