SQL QUERY AS PROPERTY TYPE FOR CUSTOM PROPERTIES

Presently ...

The custom property editor allows for the creation of custom properties from scratch.

This process allows for Property Types: Text, Integer Number, Floating Point Number, Date/Time, Yes/No Property, or Memo

I would like to see a new Property Type feature added to allow for simple SQL Queries to be use for pulling data from the database and inserting the content from that query into the Custom Property field.

Keeping it simple and short would be ideal - Only pulling content from table fields would be necessary.

Jeff, I think this request is rather against Orion Platform (a.k.a. Core).

I would agree, it's against Core but I am not sure if there is a "Idea and Feature Request" space for Orion Core.

I think this feature would be great and would also like it to support connections to outside databases to pull information into Orion via the Custom Property for integration with other systems.
