I think Solarwinds really needs to update their OUI database in whatever modules its present in (NPM, IPAM, UDT?) so that there are fewer unknowns. If I run a report, I think "Unknown" is my highest category. Today I took a dump out of UDT to see what devices were on a VLAN, about half of them were unknown. When I put the MAC's into Wiresharks OUI identification tool, none were. Most of the unknown look as if they were Dell and HP, so not odd vendors either.
This should be pretty simple for them to do, and a big benefit to us!!
