Currently we are unable to monitor AP's and F5 efficiently in solarwinds products. Kindly improve the product i will help us lot.
I like that you're reaching out for improvements, but I bet the developers would like as many specifics as you can offer.
I manage a number of F5's and can confirm SolarWinds has done a lot of improvement on monitoring them over the years. GTM's and LTM's show pools and members, status, activities, rules, etc. I seem to get all the data I want when I monitor my F5's.
What F5 things aren't you seeing in NPM, that would fill your day with satisfaction if you discovered them to be available in a new release? Or if someone were able to show you how to add them to your monitoring of F5's?
Similarly, the AP request. My NPM monitors about three thousand AP's indirectly through their Wireless Controllers, but I've found that Cisco Prime is really the tool for managing them in bulk. It was custom designed specifically for that job, and I use NPM to tell me the status of my WLC's, and use Prime to manage the AP's and their HEAT maps since it does a more thorough job.
Let SW know exactly what you don't see in AP's from NPM, and ask for it specifically. You'll probably get some seriously helpful comments from others who have the same desire, or who have found ways to get what they want from AP's from NPM or another product.
